Bowling is a wonderful game in which people of both sexes and all ages leave the tie or the blue overalls of their everyday life to enjoy the extraordinary sense of freedom, offered by a game played in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Bowling is a simple but exciting game, especially popular in America. The goal of the game is to bring down as many pins out of a total of ten, by rolling against them with a bowl with three holes, in which you put the thumb, the middle finger and ring finger. The pins are arranged in the shape of an equilateral triangle to the end of a long runway, a batch of ten bowling pins consists of 10 shot sessions.
The aim is to strike! That is, throwing down all the pins. The system of calculating the score is usually a little complicated, but at the Alpenrose Bowling is completely computerized and automated. The bowling centre is located at the Hotel Alpenrose at Mantana, near San Lorenzo di Sebato in Val Pusteria valley.
At the guests' disposal is a bar and the restaurant Alpenrose, where you can be pampered with genuine South Tyrolean specialties!
