Colle Isarco (Gossensaß), at 1098 m above sea level, is a health resort with particularly good air. The famous Norwegian dramatist Henrik Ibsen spent 7 summer holidays here at the end of the 19th century, he is commemorated in the Ibsen museum in the town hall. The parish church of the Immaculate Conception with its important ceiling paintings and the Barbara chapel are worth visiting.

A proposal for an outing could be to go to the near Brennero Pass which has a modern outlet and many small shops and market stalls.
The sulphurous thermal springs in the 3 km distant thermal baths of Brennero were already popular during the turn of the last century, Ibsen and Richard Strauss used to be guests there.

The Val di Fleres valley is the main attraction for hikers, with its scattered settlements, old farmhouses and the beautiful scenery of the 3000 m high mountain Tribulaun, it belongs to the nicest valleys of the country.
Here we also find the ski area Ladurns, where snow is always assured, great lifts and slopes offer a wonderful ski holiday for the whole family.
