The beautiful Val di Vizze valley (Pfitschtal) lies at a height of 950m – 1.555m above sea level and runs into the Valle Isarco valley from the Vipiteno basin.

The vast green pastures with small farmhouses and larch forests are characteristic for this area.
The end of the valley is very impressive because of the glaciers of the Zillertal Alps.

In Prati you can visit the castle Moos that was built in today’s form around 1600.
Vizze is popular for easy walks with low differences in altitude, especially in summer.

In winter 25 km of well prepared cross country ski runs go through the valley.

Good mountaineers can go up to the Vizze pass, here you have a magnificent view on the mountains of the Alpine divide. In summer you can cross the border to Austria.

Geologists know the valley because you can find rare minerals in this area.
