The two cable cars at Furnes and Seceda link Ortisei in Val Gardena (1,250 m) to the world-famous Seceda (2,453 m), covering a vertical rise of 1,203 m. From the valley station in Ortisei, an 8-seater gondola lift first ascends to the intermediate station at Furnes, from where the ascent continues on a cable car for 62 passengers. Once at the summit, a unique panorama unfolds, stretching from the Dolomites to many famous peaks in South Tyrol, from Ortles to the Großglockner in Austria. The Seceda mountain hut is situated on the sunny side of Val Gardena, at the foot of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park, and is an ideal starting point for hikes and climbs.

The valley station of the Furnes cable car is situated at the upper end of the village of Ortisei in Val Gardena, at the entrance to Val d’Anna Valley, and can be reached from the village centre via an underground pedestrian passage equipped with escalators. At the valley station, there are also paid parking facilities (underground car park and multi-storey car park) as well as a parking space reserved for people with disabilities. From here, a barrier-free access route leads to the bar area on the ground floor and, continuing on, to the internal lift which takes you directly to the valley station on the upper floor. The alternative external access route, however, has a small step, but is also equipped with a convenient lift (between the ski school and the bar). Access to the valley station is also step-free, but there is a height difference/step of over 20 cm when entering the cabins. The exit at the Furnes mountain station presents the same obstacle. On request, staff will assist passengers in standard manual wheelchairs by stopping the cable car and carrying the wheelchair inside. However, the lift is not accessible to motorised wheelchairs, as these cannot be lifted manually.

The top station of the Furnes cable car is directly integrated with the valley station of the Seceda cable car, thus forming a shared intermediate station: a step-free walkway leads directly to the cable car boarding platform. Access to the cable car cabin involves a variable height difference (+/– 15 cm), which depends on the payload being carried.

The Seceda mountain  station  has a step-free access platform, from which you can reach the outdoor viewing platform with a gravel surface. The panoramic terrace with a catering area, however, is located on the upper level and is accessible only via a staircase or a very steep access path with a gravel surface. The Ortisei valley station and the Furnes intermediate station have accessible toilets for people with disability, whilst those at the Seceda mountain station are not accessible.
